Melinda

Melinda is our Spa Certified Nurse Practitioner. Her practice consists of, management and prevention of health conditions using traditional and integrative ideals including: consistency in health regimens and routines, nutrition, supplements, vitamins and essential oils.  Melinda focuses on integrative health strategies for guest along with offering facial services.

Her career spans over nearly 20 years of experience in health care.  After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1999 , she took a registered nurse Critical Care Fellowship position at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. When she completed the fellowship she became an Emergency Room RN.  She gained vast knowledge and understanding of caring for people in acute and emergent situations.  This knowledge gave her a strong foundation to build upon prior to returning to school to become a nurse practitioner.  In 2010,  she graduated from Wright State University with her Master's of Science in Nursing degree.  She then joined the OSU Wexner Medical Center Department of Family Medicine.   She initially started in the OSU FastCare Clinic and then moved to the OSU Center for Integrative Medicine in 2013 where she found one of her passions,  integrative medicine.

Her current professional memberships include: Chi Eta Phi, Sorority Inc. ( a professional nursing sorority) (since 1997) and the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) (since 2016). Since joining these organizations, she have been using her resource via the association to also gain more integrative knowledge.

 In 2016, She also completed the doTERRA Aromatouch Technique Certification training (essential oil relaxation/stress touch treatment).

In 2019, She completed her fellowship from the University of Arizona at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

The icing on the cake to all of this are her 2 beautiful children a 17 year old daughter and an 13 year old son.  They both make her proud and are the best motivators for her!
